Start-stop technology
All engines available on the Audi Q3 feature start-stop as part of their fuel saving technology. In traffic, your car still uses fuel and releases CO2, even when it’s stationary. The automatic Start-Stop function is a smart new technology that counteracts this problem by being able to switch off the engine when your Q3 comes to a standstill. As soon as you touch the clutch (or brake pedal on S tronic® models), the car restarts. By only using the engine when it’s needed, it helps to save fuel and reduce emissions – especially in heavy urban traffic.
